Mikiko Inayama [she/they] is a multi-disciplinary artist who currently lives and works in the city of San Francisco. She loves playing her violin, crocheting, writing poetry, baking, singing, fashion and has recently started working with diamond painting as a medium. Born in Thousand Oaks, California, they moved to SF to study Performing Arts and Social Justice at the University of San Francisco with an interest in expanding her artistic horizons beyond the classical music world that she had been trained in since the age of 8. Through her studies and encounters with the brilliant works of both artists past and present they have developed a strong sense of philosophical and aesthetic purpose which guide her. Now, she focuses on generating art that heals and regrows the parts of themself and the world around her that have been infected by supremacy and hatred, and that creates spaces for joy and love to blossom into a liberated world for all.
